fitppl is a certified

We’re proud to announce that fitppl has joined Vegan Action, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working to eliminate animal suffering, reduce environmental impacts, and improve human health.

What is a Vegan Action?

Created in 1995, Vegan Action has been certifying vegan products through their Vegan Certification Campaign by: introducing humane organizations to veganism with their Humane Outreach Campaign, bringing vegan food into public and private facilities nationwide with their Food Service Campaign, educating animal welfare organizations about the connection of care for companion animals and veganism, leading cooking and plant-based nutrition lessons to students and community groups, and sharing the compelling ideas behind veganism with thousands of people with our Share Vegan Campaign and additional tabling events.

Why Certified Vegan Matters?

Despite the common belief that drinking milk or eating eggs does not kill animals, commercially-raised dairy cows and egg-laying chickens, factory-farmed or free range, are slaughtered when their production rates decline. The same factory farm methods that are used to produce most meats are also used to produce most milk and eggs. These cows and chickens live their short lives caged, drugged, mutilated, and deprived of their most basic freedoms. Animal agriculture takes a devastating toll on the earth. It is an inefficient way of producing food, since feed for farm animals requires land, water, fertilizer, and other resources that could otherwise have been used directly for producing human food.

How did fitppl Become Certified?

Companies that carry The Certified Vegan Trademark on their products guarantee that each product is vegan, containing no animal ingredients or animal by-products, using no animal ingredient or by-product in the manufacturing process, and not being tested on animals.
